What GPU are you trying to install and what riser configuration do you have?

Much like iDRAC in rackmount servers, the CMC monitors and automatically controls the functions of cooling fans based on actual ambient and internal temperature measurements. According to the CMC user manual, you can only configure a fan offset to increase airflow. Setting up a WAL on a Dell T350 server involves several steps, including configuring the Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC). The R7525 supports 2666 LRDIMMs, but also supports 3200 RDIMMs. However, depending on the DIMMs per channel, it may operate at 2933 when using RDIMMs. See page 19 of the R7525 Technical Guide: i.dell.com/sites/csdocuments/Product_Docs/en/poweredge-r7525-technical-guide.pdf .

Without knowing your hardware specifications, IT environment, etc., it's hard to say. It appears others have had similar issues and found a couple of different solutions: community.spiceworks.com/topic/2211259-dell-vrtx-cmc-not-responding.

Hi @fanciosi, the rails for the R650 and R640 are not interchangeable. The R640 uses A7/A8/A10 rail kits, and R650 uses A14/A15/A16 rail kits.

NVIDIA GRID K1 draws power from 1x 6-pin power connector, with power draw rated at 130 W maximum. Although it may work it is not on the supported GPU matrix for validated GPUs from Dell. The R720 can support two 300W, full‐length, double‐wide GPUs or up to four 150W, full‐length, single‐wide GPUs. GPUs are either actively or passively cooled. The GPUs are installed on the PCIe x16 2.0 interfaces available on riser 2 and GPU‐optional riser 3. A system must have the optional riser 3 with a single x16 slot to support more than two GPUs. Because GPUs demand high power, each GPU has up to two power connectors for power delivery. The GPU enablement kit is required for internal GPU installation.
